South African Baseball Union President Dr Marc Moreau has been elected Vice President (Baseball) of WBSC Africa at the recent WBSC Congress held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr Moreau has been a key driver of baseball’s growth across the continent, with much of Africa’s progress coming off the back of South Africa’s rise under his leadership. In recent years, South Africa has hosted several African Championships and remains the dominant baseball force on the continent — a reflection of his strategic vision and commitment to development.
Alongside Dr Moreau, the Congress elected the following officials to the WBSC Africa Executive Board:

- Mashilo “Mash” Matsetela (Vice President – Softball)
- Luiz Nunes (Secretary General – Cape Verde)
- Dennis M . Kasozi ( Treasurer )
- Zerbo Dramane (Member at Large – Baseball, Burkina Faso)
- Edmund Kwesi-Ackom (Member at Large – Baseball, Ghana)
- Katiholo Mosimanegape (Member at Large – Softball, Botswana)
- Linda Carole Yadi Dehoule (Member at Large – Softball, Ivory Coast)
- Saber Jlajla (Continental Representative – Baseball, Tunisia)
- Tirelo Mukokomani (Continental Representative – Softball, Botswana)
