The Senior Section of the South African National Baseball Championships 2025 concluded on Sunday, 13 April 2025, at Lansdowne Baseball Club in Cape Town, following weather-related disruptions that led to a revised schedule and condensed final day.

In the Senior Women’s Final, Cape Town Women, coached by Brevan Pharoah, earned an 8–6 win over Gauteng Diamonds 1. In the Senior Men’s Final, Cape Town A, under the leadership of Cape Town Head Coach Jody Burch, secured a 19–9 victory over Cape Town C, capping off a strong campaign.

The closing ceremony was presided over by South African Baseball President Marc Moreau, with Vice President Dennis Philander also in attendance. Mr. Philander acknowledged and thanked the scorers, umpires, and the local organising committee for their outstanding contribution to the success of the event.
President Moreau noted that while the tournament faced several logistical and weather-related challenges, he commended the local clubs for their sterling work. He praised the collective effort of the host clubs—Lansdowne Eagles, VOB Macaws, and Battswood Baseball Club—for their commitment and contribution over the ten days of competition.

Hosted by the Western Cape, the championships brought together district and provincial teams from across the country. The final day concluded with the announcement of the Tournament Teams for both men and women, with several players recognised for their performances throughout the week.
Strong local support, vocal fan engagement, and community presence were evident throughout the finals, contributing to a successful conclusion of the 2025 Senior NBC.
