Southern Stars Baseball Club all hands on deck. “Rise of the Beasts:

Southern Stars Baseball Club in Alberton is on a mission to raise funds for the club and is doing so in a most creative manner.

Driven by club Chairman Shaun Niemand the initiatives see a number of events on the cards for the club with a view to raise funds for various operational requirements such as fencing, storage, construction, and much more, with funds also aimed at support for juniors senior and women’s baseball players.

As with most successful sports clubs, it’s an all-hand-on-deck approach and that is exactly what Southern Stars is doing with a major involvement from the senior players.

One of the first initiatives sees a movie night at Monte Casino with tickets on sale from any of the senior players or by reaching out to the Stars contacts on their Facebook page. Tickets are on sale for R250 for the movie “ Transformers – Rise of the Beasts” with snacks included in the deal in a VIP area.

In addition, Southern Stars has decided on an approach that sees the fans connected to these very same players with an option for supporters to sponsor a senior reserve player for the season.

The opportunity connection offers a significant club bases return on investment including club branding, social media posts, and home game advertising, with additional value brought through the South African Baseball media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
