South Africa Confirms U15 Women in Baseball National Squad for Uganda Series

The South African Baseball Union has officially confirmed the U15 Women in Baseball National Team that will represent the country at the Uganda Series from 6–10 January 2026 in Gayaza. The squad features players selected from across multiple provinces, highlighting the depth of talent emerging through South Africa’s growing women’s baseball structures.

Over recent months, the selected players have been actively preparing behind the scenes through elite training camps hosted in various provinces as part of the ETS high-performance pathway. These camps have played a key role in ensuring the group enters the international series well conditioned and ready for competition.

The team will be led by Head Coach Zulfah Stellenboom (Western Cape), supported by Assistant Coach Jamie Cooper (Gauteng), Pitching Coach John White (Gauteng), and Manager/HOD Natalie Campbell (Gauteng).

South African Baseball President Dr Marc Moreau congratulated the newly named squad, saying:
“Congratulations to our U15 Women in Baseball squad on their selection for the Uganda Series. This tour is an important step in strengthening opportunities for young female athletes across our provinces, and we are proud to see this group representing South Africa. We wish the players and staff well as they carry our colours with commitment and professionalism.”

With preparations well underway, the South African Baseball Union wishes the players, coaches, and management every success ahead of their international assignment in January.
